For 40 years, Kingsville MX has been the proving ground for Missouri’s fastest riders. But few stories capture the spirit of our dirt better than that of Austin Forkner.
Before he was a household name in Monster Energy Supercross, Austin was a local kid from Richards, Missouri, lining up at the Missouri State Series. For Austin, like so many of you, the road to the podium didn’t start under stadium lights—it started right here at the gate in Kingsville.
Missouri Roots, World-Class Speed
Austin began his journey at just four years old, and it wasn’t long before the “Farm Boy” was dominating the Missouri State Series. Those early years at tracks like Kingsville, balancing the technical “Night Section” jumps with the raw power needed for the “Day Section” hills, helped forge the aggressive, precise style that has made him one of the fastest 250cc riders in the world.
Career Milestones: A Legacy of Excellence
Since moving from our local gates to the professional ranks in 2016, Austin has amassed a resume that rivals the best in the sport:
-
6-Time AMA Amateur National Champion: Proving his dominance before even turning pro.
-
2015 AMA Horizon Award Winner: Recognized as the most promising amateur rider in the country.
-
2016 AMA Pro Motocross Rookie of the Year: Taking the pro world by storm immediately.
-
13 Career AMA Supercross 250SX Wins: A testament to his “sprint-speed” mentality.
-
Multi-Time Race Winner & Podium Finisher: Now leading the charge for the Triumph Factory Racing team.
The Kingsville Legacy Continues
Austin’s career is a reminder that the dirt at Kingsville MX isn’t just for practice—it’s for preparation. Whether you’re lining up for your very first race or chasing a state championship, you are riding the same lines that helped build a champion.
We are proud to have been a small part of Austin’s journey. Next time you’re at the gate, remember: The next legend could be lining up right next to you.
