Before he was a 4-time AMA National Champion, a Motocross des Nations hero, and the “Voice of Motocross,” Jeff Emig was a Kansas City local making a name for himself on the regional circuit. Long before the flashy gear and the Hall of Fame induction, “Fro” was put to the test right here on the hills of Challenge Trax.

Jeff Emig’s time at Kingsville represents a golden era of Missouri/Kansas motocross. Riding as a local standout before his meteoric rise to the factory ranks, Jeff utilized the diverse terrain of Kingsville to sharpen the skills that would eventually take down the biggest names in the sport.
